Position Summary:
As LivaNova we are seeking for a new role of Sr SW MedTech Product owner. This role will represent the interface between Strategic Marketing, End Users, SW Architect, UX/ UI designer and the development team, being accountable to provide the right product solution to our customer. This role is instantiated with our R&D team, to ensure the closest collaboration with the dev team, and s/he will be also in close contact with Market region and through this to the end users to refine and understand the customer need.
General Responsibilities:
Ensures that the Marketing requirements generated by the Strategic Marketing department are clear, properly supported by coherent vision, and understood by all relevant stakeholders;
Accountable, together with the UX/UI, for defining the solution that meets the Strategic Marketing needs;
Accountable for the creation and maintenance of the User Stories backlog (in close collaboration with the UX/UI and Business analysist)
Ensure that the whole development team (UX/UI, SW Arc, Devs, QA, Tech Lead) have proper understanding of the domain and of the typical use cases
Accountable for drafting initial user stories in close collaboration with the Business Analyst.
Responsible for the definition of the ideation process and for its execution
Own the relationship with clients and deeply understand their processes, needs, pain points, and identify opportunities;
Collaborate with other product owners on the prioritization of requirements and maintain a complete backlog of all activities;
Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and identify the strengths and weaknesses of competitors and use them to make a great product.
Skills and Experience:
7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, leading the delivery of high-impact digital productsIn-depth knowledge of the Scrum Framework
In-depth Requirement engineering capabilities
High communication and leadership skills including visualization patterns
Strong capability to evaluate trade-offs and make data-driven decisions that optimize outcomes
Fluent in English
PSPO™ Certification or equivalent (e.g. ACSPO)

MedTech domain
Education:
Master’s degree in computer science, or Biomedical Engineering, or Software Engineering
