Senior Product Owner

    What is the opportunity?

    In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of best-in-class payments solutions. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Enterprise Payments strategy and implementing capabilities that meet the evolving needs of our partners and clients.

    What will you do?

    • Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for Payment initiatives.

    • Work closely with stakeholders (business and IT) to prioritize features and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities.

    • Translate business goals into actionable product requirements and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and iteration of solutions.

    • Manage stakeholder communication and lead agile product development cycles from ideation to release.

    • Ensure optimal delivery by removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance and develop contingency plans to demonstrate adaptability while supporting continuous learning.

    • Measure and communicate product performance and outcomes against KPIs and business goals.

    • Manage vendor relationships and technology partnerships where appropriate.

    • Perform stakeholder analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups and stakeholder requirements responsibilities

    • Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates

    • Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties

    • Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review

    Must-have:

    • 5+ years of product ownership or management experience, with at least 2 years in the financial services industry.

    • Proven experience delivering initiatives in an enterprise setting.

    • Strong collaboration skills with ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.

    • Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

    • Ability to work with technical teams and translate complex concepts into user-centric solutions.

    • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

    • Ability to define and detail User Stories and prioritize team backlogs in accordance with our business drivers.

    • Knowledge and previous Payments Project Experience

    • 3+ years of retail/ commercial banking experience

    Nice-to-have:

    • Undergraduate degree with Agile, Product Ownership or equivalent certification

    • Knowledge of Finance, GLs and Operations

    • Experience with Operational Readiness and Change Management
