This role leads the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional program initiatives that advance Behavioral Insurance and adjacent business priorities. You will orchestrate delivery, and manage governance, risk, and compliance to accelerate time-to-value, improve predictability, and optimize program features. You’ll partner with Implementation Leads, Technology Operations, and Vitality Group to deliver measurable business outcomes with strong change management and stakeholder communication.
Position Responsibilities:
Program Management and Delivery Optimization
Lead the delivery of complex, high-impact initiatives from inception through delivery (planning, execution, UAT, launch, warranty) using Agile, waterfall, or hybrid methods.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage interdependencies.
Ensure readiness and quality including UAT planning/execution, change management and informing stakeholders.
Monitor and improve delivery lead times and predictability, remove systemic impediments, and address cross-team dependencies.
Optimize workflows and processes to improve efficiency, automation, and reduce errors and re-work.
Maintain clear, consistent communication with sponsors, stakeholders, and delivery teams; escalate risks/decisions with data-backed options.
Produce concise executive-ready updates and storytelling on progress, risks, benefits, and trade-offs .
Contribute to quarterly/PI planning sessions, cross-functional workshops, and logistics across book of work.
Governance, Risk, Compliance & Change
Establish delivery cadence, decision forums, and accountability across mobile apps, web experiences, infrastructure, and Vitality Group to reduce delivery surprises.
Support change management to increase release frequency while reducing change failure rate—enforce delivery readiness, dependency checks, and compliance standards.
Identify, analyze, mitigate, document, and control project and technology risks; coordinate business readiness and change management.
Support internal audits; collaborate with IT and Compliance to support controls, compliance frameworks, and resiliency/DR expectations.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience delivering complex programs as a Program/Project Manager, or Product Owner/Manager.
Demonstrated success managing large, cross-functional initiatives across business, operations, and IT.
Strong command of program management mechanisms (e.g., Agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery) and continuous delivery practices.
Experience with governance and change management risk management, audit/compliance, and production readiness.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills; able to influence without authority and resolve conflicts.
Strong planning and reporting skills (project tools, Excel, PowerPoint); superior organization and documentation skills.
Working knowledge of system design/analysis, testing/UAT, and workflow design.
Strong partner management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Insurance industry experience, understanding of basic concepts of behavioral science, Health & Wellness programming and foundational understanding of industry risks and regulatory environment.
Formal project management training, exposure to Agile and Waterfall project methodologies, and superior MS Office experience.
Experience establishing change management communications and controls to support post-delivery warranty and troubleshooting.
Experience coordinating UAT cases and execution, as well as cross-functional Business Readiness.

Salary range is expected to be between
$92,475.00 USD - $160,290.00 USDEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
