Your Team

Within Retail Banking Services (RBS) the Customer Identity & Digital Trust Crew creates scalable services for consumption across the Enterprise including CBA’s market leading CommBank app, and its desktop asset Netbank, as well as into other business lines such as Business Banking, frontline applications and partners.

Your impact and contribution

As a Senior Product Owner (PO) for entitlements, you will lead the development and delivery of secure, scalable, and customer-centric identity capabilities that underpin digital trust across the enterprise. You’ll work closely with engineering, security, and extensive business stakeholders to shape the roadmap, prioritise features, and ensure seamless integration of identity services across channels.

This role sits within the Authorisation & Entitlements stream of the Customer Identity & Digital Trust crew supporting platforms leveraged Group Wide.

As a Senior Product Owner, you will:

  • Provide Product Ownership across a complex Identity Platform, whilst building reusable identity services that will be leveraged Group Wide and serve 10+ million customers

  • Advocate for a highly resilient, and secure identity platform that is available to all our Customers whenever they need us

  • Being accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions, and resolving escalations. 

  • Act as the voice of the business and customer and translate this for the team to coordinate a ‘one-team’ approach to problem solving. 

  • Provide clear lines of communication with our stakeholders on the product roadmap and prioritisation decisions. 

  • Identify, articulate and manage risks and compliance across streams of work. 

  • Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design. 

  • Lead and develop the product roadmap, and engagement with senior stakeholders/ business units to manage the delivery of product roadmap. 

  • Lead the squad day-to-day to deliver change and lifecycle activities. 

  • Maintain a healthy prioritised Backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes. 

  • Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to. 

  • Manage the squad’s performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking, etc. 

We’re interested in hearing from people who: 

  • Have proven experience as a Product Owner delivering identity and access management services. 

  • Have a good understanding of RBAC/ABAC, user provisioning and entitlement frameworks.

  • Are experienced in definition of product roadmaps, delivery of product vision. 

  • Have proven experience in influencing work and priorities through stakeholders 

  • Have proven experience leading teams 

  • Have experience with Agile methodology, working within an Agile Matrix would be ideal. 

  • Have operated in a complex enterprise environment with multiple dependencies.
