Job Description:

The Senior Product Manager Wireless Platforms defines and drives the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for HPE Aruba Networking’s wireless platform portfolio—including access points, gateways, bridges, and accessories. Leading cross-functional teams, justifying business decisions, managing pricing, forecasting, and engaging with engineering partners, and enterprise customers to deliver differentiated Mobility-Defined Network solutions. The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader with deep technical understanding of wireless platforms, strong cross-organizational influence, and proven track record bringing complex network products to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product definition, requirements, and lifecycle management for wireless platform products (APs, gateways, bridges, accessories).
  • Drive product strategy, business justification, pricing, forecasting, and performance tracking for assigned portfolio.
  • Coordinate and lead multiple project teams across engineering disciplines and external development partners through all stages of development.
  • Manage and expand relationships with internal and outsourced development partners to ensure delivery quality and timeline adherence.
  • Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with technical guidelines and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality.
  • ·Drive innovation by integrating new technologies and approaches into product roadmaps and engineering efforts.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less-experienced product and engineering staff and represent product priorities across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Typically, 8+ years of relevant experience in product management, engineering, or related roles focused on networking or wireless products.
  • Experience with wireless LAN platforms, enterprise networking, or related technologies preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-disciplinary product development and working with outsourced partners

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Deep understanding of wireless networking platforms, components, and associated accessory ecosystems.
  • Proficiency with engineering design tools and methods to evaluate hardware, software, and electrical component designs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to translate technical trade-offs into business decisions and clear product requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience validating designs via empirical analysis, modeling, and testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate architectures and negotiate options with senior management.
  • Proven ability in business justification, pricing strategies, forecasting, and performance tracking.
