The Core Foundations sits at the core of the bank’s operational transformation agenda. We deliver foundational, reusable capabilities that underpin the future of CBA’s operations—driving a material shift from traditional banking operations to a scalable, technology-enabled operating model.
You’ll join a Squad, responsible for delivering components of the strategic operations platform (One Ops), including shared UI patterns, orchestration layers, data services and AI-enabled workflows designed for enterprise-wide reuse.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will operate alongside Product Owners and Crew Leads to independently lead the delivery of defined initiatives or workstreams within this environment. You will be accountable for mobilising and leading a small, cross-functional team—spanning product, technology, operations, risk and change—to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned to strategic priorities.
Do work that matters
In this role, you will lead complex initiatives end-to-end, ensuring structured execution, disciplined governance and measurable value delivery. You will translate strategic objectives into executable delivery plans, manage interdependencies across squads and crews, and ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and with appropriate risk controls.
You will assist the Product Owner in running the squad, providing clear direction, resolving delivery impediments and maintaining strong stakeholder alignment. Your leadership will directly contribute to accelerating platform adoption, improving operational efficiency and enabling scalable growth.
