About the Team

At Workday, we believe data is the heartbeat of the enterprise — but data alone isn’t enough. Our Prague‑based team builds the Intelligence Layer for customers of all sizes and industries, from mid‑market innovators to the world’s largest employers.

We are at the center of Workday’s AI and agent strategy, evolving HR from “reading reports” to “partnering with agents.” Our team owns the Analyze, Act, Monitor framework, building the reasoning capabilities that allow AI agents to diagnose workforce issues, recommend interventions, and track results. We turn billions of data points into a clear narrative, helping leaders solve their toughest challenges — from talent retention to skills‑based hiring.

About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the next generation of AI‑ and agent‑driven experiences in Workday People Analytics. Your work will turn workforce data into clear guidance and actions for HRBPs, managers, and business leaders, and will directly influence how we grow adoption and revenue for Analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Set vision & roadmap

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for People Analytics AI & Agents, turning high‑level strategy into a focused sequence of customer‑visible releases.

  • Lead end‑to‑end product delivery

  • Drive features from discovery to launch: validate problems with customers, define requirements and user journeys, work with engineering/ML/UX to build, and iterate based on real usage and feedback.

  • Partner across AI/ML & agents

  • Work closely with ML, data science, and the Self‑Service Agent platform to design agent skills and AI‑powered experiences that are reliable, explainable, and easy to use.

  • Shape user experience

  • Collaborate with UX to create intuitive conversational and analytic flows that help non‑technical users understand what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what to do next.

  • Own outcomes, not just output

  • Define and track success metrics (for example, answer quality, time‑to‑insight, adoption, attach/expansion) and use them to guide priorities, trade‑offs, and go/no‑go decisions.

  • Connect to market & revenue

  • Stay close to the external AI/analytics market and customer needs, and partner with product marketing and GTM on positioning, packaging, and monetization so that new AI/agent capabilities clearly contribute to Workday’s growth.

About You

You are an experienced product leader with a strong track record of shipping customer‑facing products, and you’re comfortable operating at the intersection of generative AI, agents, analytics, and UX in a fast‑changing environment.

Basic qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, with ownership of end‑to‑end delivery for customer‑facing products or major features.

  • Significant experience working with generative AI, including assessing market opportunities and defining product strategies for generative AI‑powered solutions.

  • Extensive experience building and launching AI/ML or generative AI products, including hands‑on work with LLMs and other generative models (for example, conversational agents, recommendations, summarization, or similar use cases).

  • Strong analytical abilities; comfortable using data, experiments, and customer input to drive prioritization and decisions.

Other Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working independently in fast‑changing, not well defined environments; able to create clarity and structure where it doesn’t yet exist.

  • Proactive communicator who keeps partners aligned and informed, especially when working across time zones and offices (Prague, US, Chennai and others).

  • Highly collaborative, able to build strong relationships with engineering, ML, UX, GTM, and customer‑facing teams.

  • Strong bias for action and urgency: you move quickly, make thoughtful trade‑offs, and iterate.

  • Strong sense of ownership and a can‑do attitude; you are willing to dive into details, unblock others, and do what’s needed to make the product successful.

  • Technical background (e.g. prior experience in engineering, data, ML or equivalent experience) that helps you engage deeply with architects and engineers on design and trade‑offs.

  • Experience or strong interest in People Analytics, HCM, or HR technology, and familiarity with how HR and leaders use data to make workforce decisions.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email
