SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. With our technological savvy and fan-first attitude we’re simplifying and modernizing the ticketing industry.
By catering to both fans and rightsholders, we’re powering a new, open entertainment ecosystem where fans have effortless access to experiences, and teams, venues, and shows have seamless access to their audiences. Because everyone should expect more from ticketing.
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager (open to varying levels of experience) to join SeatGeek’s Product team to help shape and execute our product strategy and roadmap. SeatGeek is a product-centric organization that prides itself on beating industry competitors through a superior user experience (think: not Ticketmaster). Our product culture is defined by our high quality bar, a “ship early and often” mindset, and a transparent and autonomous environment.
What you’ll do
- Lead the evolution of a historically “keep-the-lights-on” function into a strategic, innovation-oriented payments organization that consistently identifies opportunities for differentiation and long-term value
- Define the vision for the next evolution of payments tooling at SeatGeek — including B2B2C capabilities that power our clients and the fans they serve
- Work closely with compliance, legal, risk, engineering, and business partners to design systems that meet their needs, dependencies and priorities - without compromising on customer experience
- Lead coordination with external payments partners, ensuring smooth execution across features, reliability, and client commitment
- Proactively communicate updates on deliverables and outcomes to stakeholders, and be an ambassador for your product area to the product team and broader organization
What you have
- 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class platform solutions for efficient development and operations
- A track record of taking initiative — you don’t wait for permission to start, and you’re comfortable making bold calls when the data (or the opportunity) demands it
- The willingness to call something a failure when it is, paired with the analytical sharpness to understand why it happened and the decisiveness to chart the path forward
- A creative, industry-savvy mindset with a strong pulse on the payments landscape and emerging trends
- The ability to break down complex technical systems into crisp, business-friendly explanations — ideally short enough to fit in a tweet
- Experience navigating and delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives across engineering, compliance, legal, risk, and operations
