127 Public Square, Cleveland OhioKey’s Commercial Bank is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Merchant to lead the strategic planning, development, and management of merchant processing products and client service experiences. This role serves as a core steward of the merchant product portfolio, shaping business strategy, driving commercialization, and delivering profitable growth across small business and micro‑merchant segments.
The Sr. Product Manager is accountable for defining and executing product strategy and financial plans, including performance forecasting, profitability outcomes, and portfolio goals. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders, strategic vendors, and external customers to deliver scalable, compliant, and differentiated merchant solutions.
Develop deep expertise in Fiserv and third-party product platforms and configuration requirements
Design, document, and execute scalable product enablement processes
Lead product commercialization for new releases, launches, and sales enablement
Collaborate with marketing, training, communications, legal, compliance, and sales leadership
Own revenue outcomes tied to product penetration across digital and branch channels
Manage reporting and analytics to support growth and decision-making
Support sales cycles through client discovery sessions and partner-integrated sales calls
Consult with business leaders and management to obtain buy-in and input on recommended innovations and product portfolio enhancements
Build and manage relationships with vendors and participate in the Vendor RFP process, negotiating and influencing vendor contracts
May present business cases and critical business updates to senior leadership
Partner closely with stakeholders to understand and document robust business requirements
Work with partners in procurement, technology and product to design solution
Directly manage initiatives spanning across payment products or introducing net new capabilities through the product development lifecycle and support initiative transitions to product managers. Define requirements for high priority opportunity/gaps
Serve as a key internal liaison to sales teams and senior leadership
Bachelor's Degree in business or related field and/or equivalent work experience (required)
5+ years of experience in the merchant acquiring payments industry
5+ years experience in product management or product development
Hands-on experience with payment processors such as Fiserv and Elavon
Experience integrating APIs, gateways, ISVs, and payment platforms
Proven success leading product commercialization initiatives
Product/Services Knowledge: Superior knowledgeable of financial products in merchant acquiring and payment technology.
Merchant Acquiring Expertise: Deep understanding of merchant acquiring models, payment flows, and industry trends
Payments Technology Knowledge: Strong foundation in payments processing systems and acquiring technology
Project & Program Leadership: Proven leader of large‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives, driving projects from strategic vision through execution and launch across technology, operations, and business teams.
Stakeholder & Executive Management: Highly effective at partnering with business stakeholders, senior leaders, and sales teams; adept at translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business outcomes.
Platform, API & Application Integration: Deep experience designing and supporting complex integrations across payment gateways, APIs, ISVs, and enterprise platforms.
Third‑Party & Ecosystem Integrations: Led integrations with gateways, onboarding platforms, CRM systems, and external vendors, ensuring seamless interoperability and compliance.
Payment Processing Expertise: Hands‑on experience working with leading payment processors including Fiserv, Elavon, and comparable providers.
Payments Operations & Merchant Lifecycle: Strong knowledge of merchant onboarding, boarding workflows, underwriting, and back‑office payment processing operations.
Customer Experience & UX Optimization: Demonstrated ability to design, evaluate, and optimize client payment experiences to improve usability, adoption, and satisfaction.
Product Commercialization & Scale: Expertise in launching, enabling, and scaling payment products, including go‑to‑market readiness, sales enablement, and post‑launch optimization.
Vendor & Partner Management: Experienced in managing external technology vendors and strategic partners to deliver on product and integration goals.
Data‑Driven Decision Making: Analytics‑oriented approach to product management, leveraging data and performance metrics to drive revenue growth and business outcomes.
General office environment: Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face-to-face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.
Travel to corporate office or for industry conferences as needed

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $96,000.00 - $181,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
