TITLE: Senior Product Manager, Integrations

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Senior Product Manager, Integrations owns the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Duck Creek’s integration portfolio. You’ll drive a unified integration strategy across the Duck Creek suite, encompassing iPaaS strategy, Anywhere Managed Integrations (AMI/AEI), API strategy, Connectors, and agentic extensibility solutions. Duck Creek’s current integration landscape has grown organically across 10+ engines over many years (if that sentence made you twitch, you might be who we’re looking for). The integration strategy intersects with Duck Creek’s broader platform services, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Eventing and CQRS frameworks, shared services, and agentic platform frameworks, and you’ll be responsible for ensuring integration capabilities are designed in the context of those platform foundations.

This role reports to the Director of Cloud Platform Product Management and partners closely with Engineering, Architecture, Product, Customer Success, and cross-functional stakeholders. The iPaaS strategy is the central focus, with API, AMI/AEI, and Connector strategies building on and feeding into that foundation. You’ll dig in and drive this portfolio forward as part of a collaborative product and engineering organization that sits at the center of Duck Creek’s platform evolution.

  • Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for Duck Creek’s iPaaS and integration portfolio, consolidating the current integration landscape into a unified, governed layer that serves carrier customers across the suite.
  • Own the product vision for how insurance carrier customers build, manage, and monitor integrations with third-party systems (payment processors, claims vendors, bureaus, reinsurers, GL systems, imaging providers, and others) through low-code, self-service experiences within Duck Creek’s products. You won’t be hacking the planet, but you will be connecting the systems that protect a meaningful piece of it.
  • Partner with Engineering and Architecture to evaluate and recommend integration platform technologies, ensuring alignment with Duck Creek’s Azure-native infrastructure, multi-tenant architecture, and security requirements.
  • Define the API strategy, including API lifecycle management, versioning, developer experience, partner ecosystem enablement, and governance.
  • Drive the Connector and AMI/AEI strategy, determining which pre-built integrations (100+) to maintain, retire, or migrate as the iPaaS strategy evolves.
  • Provide product leadership for agentic extensibility capabilities that allow carriers and partners to extend Duck Creek’s platform through AI-driven integration and automation workflows.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Professional Services, and Sales to understand carrier integration pain points, capture requirements, and support value articulation for integration capabilities.
  • Translate complex integration and platform architecture decisions into clear, prioritized product capabilities and outcomes that engineering teams can execute against.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for integration quality, security, monitoring, and lifecycle management across the suite.
  • Define how the integration portfolio intersects with Duck Creek’s shared platform services (IAM, Eventing and CQRS frameworks, shared services, agentic platform frameworks), ensuring integration capabilities are designed to consume and extend those foundations rather than duplicate them.
  • Partner with Product Owners on the platform services team to align integration and platform services strategies, and support their growth into broader strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate and recommend platform patterns and frameworks that improve developer experience, reduce duplication across product lines, and accelerate delivery of differentiating features.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:

  • Bachelor’s or Masters Degree and/or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
  • 6+ years of experience in product management within SaaS, PaaS, or enterprise software environments.
  • Demonstrated experience owning integration, platform, or infrastructure product domains (iPaaS, API management, integration platforms, middleware, or similar).
  • Track record of driving platform or integration strategy across multiple product lines or business units.
  • Experience evaluating, selecting, and driving adoption of third-party platform technologies (integration platforms or similar).
  • Working knowledge of API design and lifecycle management (REST, event-driven, webhooks).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, and Azure or equivalent cloud infrastructure.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & BEHAVIORS:

  • Experience with embedded iPaaS or OEM integration platform strategies.
  • Knowledge of P&C insurance business processes, carrier operations, or InsurTech product environments.
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), event-driven architectures (CQRS, event sourcing), or shared services platform design.
  • Exposure to agentic AI frameworks, AI-driven automation, or extensibility platform design.
  • Experience working with or migrating from legacy integration engines (ETL/ELT pipelines, SOAP-based integrations) to modern iPaaS or API-first architectures.
  • Practical experience using AI and LLM tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate product management workflows, including research, requirements elaboration, and stakeholder communication.
  • Working familiarity with agentic AI frameworks and patterns: LangChain/LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Agent Service, Copilot Studio, CrewAI, Anthropic Model Context Protocol (MCP), or OpenAI function calling/Assistants API. The ability to critically evaluate AI-native features in integration and platform tooling, understand API-based integration patterns for LLMs, and translate agentic AI capabilities into product strategy is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with insurance data standards, bureau integrations, or financial services integration patterns.
  • Ability to decompose complex integration and platform architecture problems into structured, prioritized product capabilities.
  • Skill in evaluating platform technologies and making build-vs-buy-vs-partner recommendations with clear trade-off analysis.
  • Working knowledge of event-driven architecture patterns (pub/sub, CQRS, message queues, webhooks) and how they apply to integration and platform services.
  • Understanding of API governance, versioning strategies, and developer experience considerations.
  • Ability to synthesize input from engineering, architecture, customer success, and carrier stakeholders into coherent product decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and business audiences, with the ability to translate architecture-level decisions into business outcomes.
  • Ability to drive initiatives forward within defined strategic direction and governance models while collaborating across teams.
  • Sound judgment in surfacing risks, trade-offs, and dependencies with recommendations (not just identifying problems, but showing up with a point of view on what to do about them).
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Consistent accountability for commitments, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Comfort working across organizational boundaries, influencing without direct authority, and building alignment across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
