At Axon, we’re on a mission to Protect Life. We’re explorers, pursuing society’s most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.
Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.
Fusus is evolving from a tightly integrated real-time application into a composable platform that powers mission-critical workflows across public safety agencies, enterprise security organizations, and international markets.
As we scale into larger deployments and new geographies, we cannot treat “platform” and “experience” as separate concerns. The foundational choices we make in identity, configuration, asset modeling, and data governance show up directly in what customers experience: how fast they can onboard, how confidently they can manage devices and users, how safely they can share information, and how reliably the system behaves in critical moments.
As a Sr. Product Manager II for Fusus Foundational Experiences, you will work backwards from customer and user problems—starting with real operational workflows and translating them into platform capabilities, service contracts, and product surfaces that scale. You will own a key domain end-to-end, spanning the user-facing experience (what administrators and operators do) through the underlying platform changes required to make that experience consistent, secure, and easy to operate at scale.
A key part of the charter is ensuring the platform creates the conditions for AI-powered capabilities to succeed. That means improving the reliability and structure of the underlying data, ensuring consistent system surfaces and metadata, and strengthening governance and access controls—so AI features can integrate naturally and operate predictably in real workflows.
Success in this role means customers can deploy and evolve their environment with less friction, product teams can build faster without reinventing foundational logic, and the platform becomes easier to trust because its rules are clear, its data is dependable, and its behavior is predictable.
You will drive strategy and execution within one or more foundational areas. Example domains may include:
These examples illustrate the types of domains you may own — not a fixed checklist of responsibilities.
You are energized by owning foundational problems end-to-end—improving the customer experience while building scalable primitives that unlock faster progress across the platform.
Don’t meet every single requirement? That's ok. At Axon, we Aim Far. We think big with a long-term view because we want to reinvent the world to be a safer, better place. We are also committed to building diverse teams that reflect the communities we serve.
Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they check every box in the job description. If you’re excited about this role and our mission to Protect Life but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification listed here, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
