Senior Product Manager I

Are you keen to develop your Product Management career?

Would you enjoy working on our cutting-edge products?

About the Team

Join the ClinicalKey AI team at Elsevier as we transform how clinicians make decisions through the power of trusted evidence and responsible AI. By combining Elsevier’s world-class content with advanced technology capabilities, we deliver intelligent guidance that strengthens clinical decision making and patient outcomes. Recognized by leading healthcare institutions and accrediting bodies, we continually evolve our solutions to reflect the latest standards in healthcare, technology, and evidence-based care. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of nursing through innovative AI-driven solutions.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, ClinicalKey AI to lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of AI capabilities that elevate how healthcare uses access knowledge, apply evidence, and grow their skills. Working in close partnership with product managers across our Clinical Solutions portfolio, you’ll focus specifically on developing AI-powered experiences that enhance ClinicalKey AI. You’ll blend curiosity, technical fluency, and empathy for the clinical user to turn emerging AI technologies into meaningful, trustworthy products used by healthcare workers worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own a portion of the ClinicalKey AI roadmap, driving AI innovation for healthcare.

  • Collaborate with the VP Product and other product leaders on strategic vision, informed by customer data and insights.

  • Translate complex clinical and educational challenges into safe, explainable AI features that improve confidence, efficiency, and quality of care.

  • Conduct hands-on user discovery and concept testing with healthcare professionals to validate unmet needs and inform prioritization.

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, proactively identifying issues and providing data-driven recommendations.

  • Collaborate with data scientists and lead a team of engineers to deliver AI capabilities

  • Define key success metrics and use data-driven insights to guide iteration and scale.

  • Partner with design, clinical, and commercial teams to ensure product excellence, regulatory compliance, and market readiness.

  • Serve as an advocate for users’ trust in AI -- ensuring that every solution empowers rather than replaces clinical judgment.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience, including proven success launching or scaling AI- or data-driven products.

  • High technical fluency -- able to collaborate confidently with engineering, data science, and UX teams.

  • Demonstrated experience standing up customer-facing AI products and using AI to move from idea to prototype; ability to move to working software a plus.

  • Deep curiosity and skill in user research, hypothesis-driven experimentation, and iterative design.

  • Experience as a full manager of a product or sizable feature of a complex, global product with experience releasing new products or product features to the market, from conceptualization to execution to post release management

  • Experience delivering products end-to-end, including feature delivery tradeoffs, roadmap strategy, prioritization, and messaging for commercial stakeholders

  • Experience defining and tracking product metrics across adoption, engagement, and quality.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, capable of inspiring technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of clinical environments, health technology, or education technology a plus.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Nursing, Computer Science, Product Design, Health Informatics, or Business).

  • Experience with ethical AI principles.
