Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to help drive the strategy, development, launch, and lifecycle management of our products. In this role, you will assess customer needs, evaluate market opportunities, and analyze the competitive landscape to define and enhance product offerings. You will recommend the scope and direction of current and future product lines by reviewing product requirements, evaluating new product ideas, and identifying product or packaging improvements. The Product Manager will partner cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, sales, advertising, and production teams to bring new products to market, develop go-to-market plans, establish pricing, and support operational readiness. This role requires strong functional expertise, sound business judgment, and the ability to solve complex problems while working independently and collaboratively across teams.
Responsibilities
Determine customer needs and assess market competition to support product strategy and decision-making
Recommend the scope and direction of current and future product lines through analysis of product specifications, requirements, and market opportunities
Evaluate and appraise new product ideas, enhancements, and product or packaging changes
Bring new products to market by analyzing product requirements and development programs
Prepare return-on-investment analyses and support business case development for new products and enhancements
Establish and manage timelines in partnership with engineering and manufacturing teams
Develop and execute integrated product launch and go-to-market plans with sales, advertising, and production teams
Determine product pricing and support completion of operational requirements
Apply functional expertise and best practices to improve products, services, and business outcomes
Solve complex problems by applying new perspectives to existing solutions and exercising sound judgment based on multiple sources of information
Work independently with minimal guidance while operating within broad guidelines and policies
Serve as a resource to colleagues with less experience and may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
Build alignment across teams and communicate difficult or sensitive information effectively to gain consensus
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
Typically requires strong experience in product management, product development, marketing, or a related discipline
In-depth knowledge and experience within product management or a related functional area
Understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines
Knowledge of industry best practices, competitive dynamics, and market differentiation factors
Experience evaluating product opportunities, defining requirements, and supporting product launches
Ability to perform market analysis, competitive assessment, and return-on-investment evaluation
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal guidance
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build consensus among stakeholders
Project leadership experience or experience guiding less experienced colleagues is a plus
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $95,000 - $100,000.
