Senior Product Manager - Global Ecommerce
Description -
Senior Product Manager – HP SHOP Product Line
Summary
HP is seeking a Senior Product Manager to serve as Product Line Lead for the SHOP product line within the HP Store. The SHOP product line owns the customer experiences that help customers find, evaluate, and select the right products, including home, category and landing pages, listing and search experiences, product detail pages, and supporting content and pricing capabilities.
This role has end‑to‑end accountability for the performance of the SHOP product line and is responsible for setting product direction, aligning multiple product pods, and driving meaningful customer and business outcomes. It is a senior individual contributor role that operates at both a strategic and hands‑on level, partnering closely with design, engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the SHOP product line, ensuring alignment with HP Store and broader business priorities
- Translate company and Store‑level objectives into clear, outcome‑driven product strategies and initiatives across multiple pods
- Define and maintain product line success metrics and OKRs, with a focus on discoverability, engagement, and conversion through the top of the funnel
- Lead cross‑pod prioritization and decision‑making, balancing customer experience quality, commercial performance, and platform scalability
- Partner closely with UX, Engineering, Analytics, and Sales to shape solutions, manage tradeoffs, and deliver results
- Use data, experimentation, customer insights, and qualitative feedback to inform roadmap decisions and measure impact
- Act as the primary point of accountability for SHOP product line outcomes, while enabling autonomy and velocity at the pod level
- Collaborate with adjacent product line leads to ensure cohesive, end‑to‑end customer journeys across the Store
- Communicate product direction, progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders through regular product line reviews and executive updates
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex, customer‑facing digital products
- Proven experience leading large product areas or product lines that span multiple teams or pods
- Strong background in ecommerce, marketplaces, or content‑driven platforms, with demonstrated impact on conversion or engagement metrics
- Experience defining and using product metrics, OKRs, and experimentation to guide prioritization and decisions
- Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders without direct authority
Preferred Experience
- Work on search, navigation, merchandising, or product detail page experiences; operating in global or scaled platforms; and success as a senior individual contributor driving strategy through clarity and outcomes rather than people management.
The base pay range for this role is $116,000 to $170,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
