The Team: The Energy Transition Customer Enablement product team within S&P Energy Horizons is a highly collaborative group that drives innovation in energy solutions for global clients. The Impact:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will join a highly visible team that directly influences the execution of our product roadmap and vision. You will drive innovative product development informed by customer insights and a deep understanding of clients' workflows across various sectors and personas. Your efforts will focus on delivering solutions that anticipate and meet clients' needs in rapidly evolving markets.

Responsibilities:

Drive customer-centric product strategy by engaging with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and influence product delivery enhancements across platforms, ensuring clients have seamless access to critical energy transition tools and analytics

Shape product roadmap development by leveraging insights from evolving market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to align with business vision and drive revenue growth, client expansion, and industry diversification

Lead cross-functional collaboration with research teams, technical developers, and digital product management to maintain, enhance, and deliver innovative energy transition offerings

Coordinate go-to-market initiatives with product marketing teams on product enhancements and launches, including sales enablement materials, campaign messaging, and partnering with Customer Experience teams to design client training and commercial programs

Manage agile project coordination with technical development teams and platform stakeholders to implement product feature changes, additions, and enhancements that directly impact product success

Maintain product documentation and define success metrics by creating accurate release notes, training materials, supporting commercial teams with feature communications, and analyzing customer feedback and usage data to optimize the product roadmap

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree.

  • 5-10+ years of product management, subject matter, and commercial experience

  • Evidence of thriving in a challenging, fast-paced, client-facing environment while executing complex, business-critical processes within an established framework.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task projects of varying time ranges (short, medium, and long-term).

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships while working effectively across multiple organizational and functional departments.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Smarsheet, Aha!, Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to energy markets is highly desirable.

  • A proven track record of creating product roadmaps and successfully executing against them.

  • A strong focus on customer needs and an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Strong customer mindset with demonstrated ability to engage directly and positively with customers.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience or familiarity with both Agile Scrum and Lean methodologies.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,773 to $169,759 Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
