The Role: Senior Product Manager, Digital Product Management - Content Management

The Team: The S&P Global Energy Digital Platform Team are a creative, agile groups of experts who collaborate with commodity vertical product managers to drive innovation and evolution in digital platforms, mobile platforms, machine delivery mechanisms and user experience. We are now looking for a Senior Product Manager to help the group executing on our content management platform roadmap.

The Impact: We are seeking a Senior Product Manager who will join S&P Global Energy Digital Product Management to play a substantial role in managing and executing our technical product roadmap.

This includes the development of our digital product offerings using Agile methodology and the delivery of products which bring tangible value to our customers across our platform including - web, mobile apps and data feeds.

In this role you will work with different business functions such as Customer success, Enterprise Data team, and technology to refine and execute upon a customer-centric roadmap using the Agile/Scrum framework.

You can interact with stakeholders from different background (product, technology, Operations) delivering a consistent message of digital innovation based on sustainable execution.

Responsibilities:

Product Lifecycle:

• Interact with internal users to solicit product feedback and determine pain points to refine  product roadmap to ensure user requirements are met
• Contribute to the content management platform roadmap on content creation, content publishing, and technical workflows to deliver content to downstream applications. Be ready to jump in on ongoing workstreams and make a difference
• Be the Product Owner for a scrum team to execute on the platform roadmap using your sound technical and project management skills, being ready to refine user stories, manage a backlog and understand priorities and dependencies within a scrum agile methodology
  • Write effective user stories and own the business vision and direction to Agile development teams
  • Own and prioritize product backlog according to business value and/or ROI
• Present content management platform achievements to internal stakeholders: conduct demos that merge technical and business topics into consistent and engaging demos. Use your excellent  communication skills to be the best advocate of our platforms
• Be aware and knowledgeable of the commodity industry

What We’re Looking For

Being held accountable for execution, tangible deliverables and measurable success are common in your past. You can demonstrate experience of successful delivery on scope, in time, and on budget.

• 5-7+ years product management experience as a Product Manager in system design, product management and agile software development, preferably at editorial/content-based company
• Strong customer mindset with demonstrated ability to engage directly and honestly with customers on all issues and deliver positive experience by creating a partnership mindset
• Strong presentation skills, “Get Things Done” mindset
• Understanding of data in a complex enterprise system landscape, including data governance and quality.
• Good understanding of AI technologies
• Experience with both Agile Scrum and Lean methodologies
