High-Level Overview:

Benevity is seeking a Senior Product Manager to help advance our mission of creating a positive impact globally. As a Product Manager at Benevity, you’ll refine your skills while working on impactful products that enable leading companies to engage their employees and customers in meaningful ways. You will manage products within our reporting and analytics portfolio, collaborating closely with design and engineering teams in an outcome-driven environment. Leveraging scalable technology investments across Data, and Technology Enablers, you will thrive in a culture driven by our core value of "we-are-we."

We welcome experienced candidates from diverse backgrounds who bring unique perspectives and a passion for social impact. If you’re excited to contribute to a culture of goodness and make a meaningful difference, we’d love to hear from you!

What you'll do:

Turn Donate into a measurable commerce engine

  • Instrument and operationalize the end-to-end donation funnel, from intent to confirmation, across web and embedded surfaces.
  • Establish performance baselines and lead structured experimentation to improve completion rates, reduce friction, and increase recurring participation.

Expand Donate into new surfaces

  • Lead the evolution of Donate beyond the web into Microsoft Teams, Slack, SMS, API-powered integrations, and emerging AI-driven commerce contexts.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture to enable reusable, surface-agnostic commerce capabilities.

Drive growth through disciplined experimentation

  • Define hypotheses, design experiments, and use data to iterate on checkout flows, payment interactions, messaging, and post-transaction engagement.
  • Introduce best-in-class growth and conversion practices drawn from consumer-grade commerce environments.

Elevate commerce rigor across the organization

  • Raise the bar on instrumentation, experimentation, and performance accountability.
  • Establish clear KPIs and reporting that connect checkout performance to broader business impact.

Partner across impact products

  • Collaborate with Volunteer, Employee Resource Groups, Challenges, Campaigns, and Incentives teams to ensure Donate functions as a unified transaction layer across the ecosystem.
  • Enable consistent and scalable commerce capabilities that support multiple product experiences.

Leverage AI to accelerate product development

  • Apply AI tools and AI-augmented workflows to discovery, specification, experimentation design, and documentation.
  • Contribute to evolving modern product development practices that increase velocity without sacrificing rigor.

Manage the full lifecycle

  • Launch new commerce capabilities, optimize and scale them, and thoughtfully sunset legacy flows when appropriate.

What you'll bring:

  • 6+ years of product management experience, including ownership of consumer-grade checkout or high-volume transactional flows.
  • Proven experience building, launching, optimizing, and iterating on multi-surface commerce experiences (web, embedded, messaging, or similar).
  • Strong quantitative instincts with experience improving conversion, completion rates, or transactional performance through experimentation.
  • Comfort working at the intersection of growth and architecture (approximately 60% business / 40% technical orientation).
  • Experience in instrumenting funnels and defining meaningful KPIs tied to business outcomes.
  • Ability to partner effectively with engineering and technical architects without requiring deep implementation ownership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across multiple product areas.

Nice to have:

  • Experience evolving a product from feature-based checkout to platform-based commerce capabilities.
  • Familiarity with API-first or headless commerce models.
  • Hands-on experience operating on third-party payment rails and financial APIs.
  • Experience building or optimizing recurring payment or subscription systems.
  • Experience working in AI-augmented product development environments.
  • Background in enterprise SaaS or regulated/financially sensitive systems.
  • CSR or social impact experience (valued but not required).
