Senior Product Manager – Asset Intelligence & OT Security

Vectra AI is seeking a skilled Senior Product Manager to lead a new, mission-critical initiative within our Network Detection and Response (NDR) portfolio, with a primary focus on Asset Inventory, Asset Intelligence, and Operational Technology (OT) security. In this role, you will shape product strategy from the ground up—defining how Vectra discovers, classifies, and understands assets across IT, OT, and hybrid environments—and guide the solution through its full lifecycle from conception to market success.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams in San Jose, Austin, Boston, Dublin, and Bangalore to define product vision, uncover customer and market-driven opportunities, and prioritize high-impact capabilities that strengthen Vectra’s leadership in network-centric threat detection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the product strategy for a greenfield asset inventory and asset intelligence solution within Vectra’s NDR portfolio, with strong emphasis on OT and complex network environments.
  • Define and prioritize product requirements related to asset discovery, classification, enrichment, visibility, and context, spanning IT, IoT, and OT assets.
  • Partner closely with engineering, data science, security research, and UX teams to manage the product backlog, resolve design challenges, and deliver high-quality, customer-driven releases.
  • Incorporate OT-specific requirements such as passive discovery, protocol awareness, asset criticality, and environmental constraints into product design and roadmap decisions.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance detection fidelity, asset context, and operational workflows, maintaining Vectra’s competitive edge in network and OT security markets.
  • Act as a product evangelist—engaging with customers, partners, and field teams to validate direction, communicate value, and drive adoption across enterprise and industrial use cases.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful security or infrastructure products.
  • 5+ years of experience building, managing, or implementing network-based security or visibility solutions.
  • Strong understanding of asset inventory, asset discovery, and asset intelligence in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Experience working with or designing solutions for Operational Technology (OT), IoT, or industrial networks, including their unique constraints and threat models.
  • Expertise in network-based threat detection and a solid understanding of the broader cybersecurity landscape.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated success driving products from concept through adoption in collaboration with globally distributed teams.

Nice to Have / Bonus

  • Familiarity with SASE and/or Secure Service Edge (SSE) architectures and how they intersect with network visibility and asset context.
  • Background in software development, data platforms, or security analytics.
  • Experience working closely with SOC, SecOps, or industrial security teams.
