Hyve Solutions

Senior Product Lifecycle Enhancement Manager

Fremont, CA Full time

@HYVE Solutions, missions to help customers, business partners, and employees achieve success through shared goals, strategies, resources and technology solutions.

Position Summary
Senior PLM/ERP domain demand intake, triage, and prioritization; drive stakeholder alignment; translate business needs into a sequenced roadmap; and coordinate delivery across teams. The volume and criticality of PLM change (data model, lifecycle controls, integrations, and downstream impacts) require an owner who can drive decisions, not just coordinate tasks.

Key Responsibilities
•    Customer & stakeholder interface (internal/external): Lead PLM enhancement intake, clarify objectives, confirm scope, and drive decisions/approvals with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and customer-facing teams.
•    Requirements translation: Convert business needs into clear requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings) that the ERP development team can execute; validate understanding and close gaps quickly.
•    Backlog management & prioritization support: Maintain the PLM backlog in the agreed toolset, ensure items are well-defined and sized, identify dependencies, and support prioritization discussions based on business impact, risk, and capacity.
•    Solution coordination: Partner with solution architects, system engineers, and developers to align feasible solutions; ensure impacts to downstream systems (e.g., MRP, Purchasing, WMS, Shop Floor, reporting) are understood and communicated.
•    Test planning & UAT execution: Create/coordinate test plans and test cases; facilitate UAT with business users; ensure defects are triaged, reproduced, and tracked to closure with appropriate evidence.
•    Release readiness & deployment coordination: Coordinate release content, cutover steps, and stakeholder communications; ensure deployment prerequisites are met (config, access, data readiness, job schedules, rollback considerations).
•    Production support & incident triage: Serve as first-line functional triage for PLM incidents; gather symptoms, logs, and reproduction steps; route to the right technical owner; track to resolution and communicate status/ETA.
•    Documentation & governance: Maintain PLM process/SOP documentation (change control, part/BOM setup, lifecycle attributes), release notes, and standard templates; promote consistent standards and controlled change practices.
•    Metrics & continuous improvement: Track and report on delivery health (cycle time, defect trends, release performance) and propose process improvements that reduce rework and improve predictability.
Required Qualifications
•    Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
•    Experience working as a business systems analyst, ERP/PLM analyst, program/project coordinator, or similar role bridging business and technical teams.
•    Working knowledge of PLM concepts and processes (part master, BOM structures, change control/ECO, lifecycle states/attributes).
•    Ability to write clear requirements and acceptance criteria; strong attention to detail and follow-through.
•    Experience coordinating testing/UAT and managing defects through resolution.
•    Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive closure on open questions and action items.
Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience supporting discrete manufacturing environments (servers/racks/PCBAs) and understanding of downstream execution flows (MRP, Purchasing, Work Orders, WMS, Shop Floor).
•    Experience with integrations/APIs (e.g., PLM to MRP/WMS/Shop Floor), data validation, and data governance practices.
•    Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices, backlog grooming, and release planning.
•    Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira/Confluence/Smartsheet (or similar) for backlog, documentation, and tracking.
•    Experience partnering with globally distributed teams and coordinating follow-the-sun handoffs.
Core Competencies
•    Customer and stakeholder management; ability to set expectations and communicate trade-offs.
•    Structured problem solving and root-cause orientation; ability to triage and drive issues to closure.
•    High-quality documentation and process discipline; consistency in standards and handoffs.
•    Collaboration and influence without authority across business and technical teams.
•    Ownership mindset with strong bias for action, risk awareness, and escalation judgment.
