Senior Product Engineer

  • Support building and developing a local supply base
  • Build testing capabilities
  • Support all insourcing plans to ensure corrective and preventive measures meet global SBD’s standards of robustness and effectiveness.
  • Support on-going quality efforts for quality continuous improvement
  • NPD lead/ownership:
    • Conduct and coordinate engineering research, design, development, and validation activities
    • Coordinate, address & solve all product technical issues arise from manufacturing environment until product end of life
    • Set specifications for new equipment and perform test procedures to verify and validate product quality and efficacy
    • Execute NPD launches (kick-off, frequent update meetings, milestone, etc.)
    • Understand new product concept and specification
    • Able to use required tools to analyze issues of the respective products
    • Troubleshoot skill transfer applicable to new products
    • Coach during issue investigation to enhance analysis skills and issue pattern recognition
    • Convey product lessons learned to NPD teams to drive optimal new product designs
  • Share and exchange of the product related information, technical know-how and experience of transfer projects within plant technical teams, to strengthen the product know-how competencies in plant operation team.
