Senior Product Development Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing power binning algorithms and parametric models that determine product positioning and capabilities. This role involves working with diverse stakeholders across Product Development, Process Development, Design, Architecture, Sort and Manufacturing to deliver competitive technology solutions.
Owner of binning strategy for Client CPUs, accountable for frequency and power targets while optimizing performance, per marketing specifications and product capabilities.
The individual will lead strategic working groups composed of engineers and managers from multiple teams, focusing on Intel's power binning algorithms. You'll be responsible for defining product roadmaps based on physical characteristics analysis and driving resolution of product-related PnP, Parametric and BinSplit limiters.
Key responsibilities include leading data analyses with direct impact on Intel Design, test and process optimization. The role requires strong capability to see the bigger picture and connect product physical characterization with marketing roadmap requirements. You'll own frequency, current, power target optimization, performance scaling, data analysis and processor validation.
This position involves regular presentations to senior leadership and requires collaboration with architecture, validation, PnP organization, fabs, and IT teams.
• BSc in Electrical Engineering, MSc in Engineering/Physics/Statistics preferred
• 4+ years in CPU development, testing environment, or related semiconductor fields
• Strong engineering data analysis capabilities and statistical modeling expertise
• Professional-level English proficiency (interviews conducted in English)
• Ability to lead complex tasks and work independently
• Motivated, energetic, able to work under pressure in constantly changing environment
• Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders
