A Senior Product Designer at Rove will lead the design of complex travel and loyalty systems, transforming sophisticated airline infrastructure into elegant, intuitive user experiences. This role focuses on designing the core surfaces of the Rove platform, including award search, shopping, card-linked offers, dining, points transfers, and the travel booking experience, ensuring that powerful routing logic and rewards mechanics feel seamless and simple for the end user.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end design of Rove’s award search and booking experience, including segmented awards and repositioning flows.
  • Translate complex airline loyalty rules, points transfers, and redemption mechanics into simple, intuitive product interfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to bring rewards infrastructure into polished user-facing experiences.
  • Establish and evolve Rove’s design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and performance across web and mobile.
  • Drive rapid experimentation and iteration across growth surfaces, onboarding flows, and loyalty earning experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Deep passion for travel hacking and airline loyalty programs.
  • Strong product intuition with the ability to simplify technically complex systems.
  • Proven experience designing high-quality consumer product experiences from concept to launch.
  • Strong knowledge of modern product design tools and workflows, including Figma and high-fidelity prototyping.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams and understanding technical constraints.
  • Exceptional visual design sensibility paired with strong product thinking.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience building or contributing to a scalable design system.
  • Experience designing for complex marketplaces, fintech products, or travel platforms.
  • Experience working at an early-stage startup and shipping quickly under ambiguity.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, growth, and partnerships.

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in a product-driven startup environment.
  • A passion for building category-defining products in fintech and travel.
