Job responsibilities

Design and structure consistent experiences across complex flows, multiple teams, and domains within shared products and systems
Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to organize complex user journeys, define usage rules, and ensure coherence across solutions used by multiple users or internal teams
Create experience design deliverables including journey maps, service blueprints, information architecture documentation, prototypes, and design systems
Facilitate workshops and contribute to strategic design decisions at the portfolio level
Apply research methods such as contextual analysis, moderated interviews, and user testing to inform design direction
Regularly assess and communicate project scope, risks, and updates to stakeholders
Balance client and Thoughtworker expectations by clearly communicating experience design deliverables
Support less-experienced designers and extend your expertise across the team
Advocate for experience design within and beyond Thoughtworks through conferences, webinars, meetups, and community contributions

Job qualifications

Technical skills

You have solid experience as a Product Designer working on complex B2B, SaaS, or internal systems products
You bring strong information architecture skills and a proven ability to structure and simplify complex user flows
You have hands-on experience collaborating directly with engineering teams throughout the product development cycle
You are comfortable leading and advising research activities, employing methods such as contextual inquiry, moderated interviews, and user testing
You are an experienced storyteller, able to clearly present research findings and design decisions to diverse stakeholders

Professional skills

You bring an inspiring, structured approach to design and enjoy facilitating client and team sessions around complex systems
You understand stakeholder management and can liaise effectively between clients, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and trust
You are comfortable designing solo or collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-quality experience design outputs
You have a knack for defining project roles and building confidence in your design teammates
You are passionate about contributing to the growing experience design community at Thoughtworks through peer reviews and knowledge sharing

Nice to Haves

You have experience working with shared platforms or systems across multiple teams or domains
You bring familiarity with integrations or APIs and how they shape user experience decisions
You have a background in enterprise or B2B product environments
