Senior Producer, Custom Video | The Points Guy

*This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our NYC office (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week.

The Points Guy team is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Producer to lead the development and execution of high-impact branded content across digital, social, and broadcast platforms. This role blends creative leadership, production expertise, and client partnership to deliver compelling storytelling that meets both brand objectives and audience expectations.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a highly collaborative environment, has a “can-do” attitude and can give and receive feedback well. They are exceptionally organized and have experience operating in deadline-driven environments. The ideal candidate is equal parts creative thinker, production expert, and operational leader — someone who can shape ideas at the pitch stage and flawlessly execute them through post-production and delivery.

What You’ll Do:

Creative & Strategy

• Lead the creative development of branded content video concepts in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Editorial teams.
• Translate client briefs into engaging, audience-first storytelling.
• Contribute to pitch decks and presentations, including creative direction and budget alignment.
• Ensure content aligns with brand voice, performance goals, and platform best practices.

Production Leadership

• Oversee all phases of production: pre-production, shoot, post, and delivery.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and cross-functional workflows.
• Direct on-set execution or oversee field producers and production partners.
• Maintain high production value while optimizing resources.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a senior point of contact for brand clients during production.
• Present concepts, production plans, and final deliverables confidently.
• Navigate feedback and approvals while protecting creative integrity.

Team & Operational Oversight

• Mentor junior producers and freelancers
• Build and manage external production crews, editors, and creative vendors
• Establish scalable processes for repeatable branded formats
• Ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of experience in content production, with significant branded content experience
• Strong budgeting and production management skills
• Experience working directly with brand partners and internal sales teams
• Excellent storytelling instincts and editorial judgment
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for shoots
• Experience in managing Associate Producers, Production Assistants and freelance crew on projects
• On-set directing experience
• A passion for our brand’s content

Compensation: 

This range reflects total cash compensation, which may include base salary only or base salary plus target bonus, depending on the role. Where eligible, equity may also be offered separately and not included below. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.

*New York City Total Cash Compensation Range: $84,000 - $144,000 per year
