Mission:
Administer procurement and purchasing operations to secure high quality materials and services
at optimal costs, ensuring timely availability while mitigating risks. Build & develop supplier relationships to support the organization goals in a focused procurement setting. Demonstrate accountability, detail orientation, and commitment to continuous learning.
Responsibilities
● Perform the full procurement lifecycle, including requisition review, supplier sourcing,
contract negotiation, purchase order creation, logistics & delivery verification to
site/requesters, and coordination until supplier payment.
● Identify savings opportunities and optimizations in transactions through market analysis,
vendor negotiations, and strategic sourcing tailored to Valeo needs.
● Proactively resolve issues by influencing suppliers and internal stakeholders,
ensuring alignment with procurement policies, regulations, and engineering priorities.
● Track supplier performance to support projects timelines and budgets.
● Prepare and report detailed purchasing activity updates to the procurement manager.
Requirements:
Experience & Qualifications:
● Minimum 5 years in procurement/purchasing, ideally in tech or engineering fields,
handling end-to-end processes.
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
● Proactive problem-solver (not just an executor) who creatively navigates challenges, with
high accountability and detail focus.
● Skilled negotiator spotting savings, eager learner with strong interpersonal skills for
stakeholder trust.
● Proficient in Google Suite, ERP systems, and reporting techniques.
