The Enterprise Vendor Management team drives firm-wide strategic sourcing and vendor optimization to support Franklin Templeton’s global investment operations. We partner with technology, business, legal, and risk teams to secure high‑quality vendor services while managing cost, risk, and performance. Team members collaborate across regions, work on high‑value commercial initiatives, and gain exposure to complex negotiations and global sourcing strategy. Joining this team provides hands‑on experience with high‑impact negotiation, supplier management, and enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives.
Core Responsibilities:
You Will:
Manage a large technology spend portfolio
Partner with technology and business teams to understand requirements.
Lead & Drive Strategic Sourcing initiatives with key stakeholders.
Manage assigned technology spending, including software and services.
Lead & Oversee end‑to‑end supplier relationships.
Review & Redline multiple contract types.
Lead & conduct all contract & commercial negotiations.
Complete the assigned sourcing and contracting requests
Ensure all records are up to date & provide regular updates to stakeholders
Strategic Responsibilities:
Drive Sourcing & Category strategy with stakeholders
Lead the spend analytics & contracts visibility information for the assigned area
Draw Meaningful Insights on Data, market moves while recommending a course of action
Collaboration:
Partner with key stakeholders, leadership team members and line managers on new opportunities, renewals, updates
Partner with Legal, Risk, Information Security & Data Privacy teams for contract reviews
Experience, Education & Certifications:
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management
Familiarity in the Technology category. (Financial Services experience is preferred)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Broad knowledge of technology categories
Technical / Other Skills:
Intermediate / advanced excel skills (Pivots, Formulas, Queries, Macros)
Familiarity with Coupa, Ariba, Ivalua, GEP, OR other S2P Platforms
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI / Qlik / Tableau)
Excellent understanding of sourcing & contracting principles
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to manage ambiguity
Ability to balance multiple priorities
Strong Organization Skills & sense of urgency.
