The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Procurement Agent to join our team in Seattle, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
Issues Requests for Proposals/Quotes, performing proposal fact-finding and Price and Cost Analysis, developing negotiation strategies utilizing supplier cost & pricing data, contract terms and conditions and preparing contractual documents and binding agreements
Manages supplier performance to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and other key support to programs. In addition, the team will be responsible for driving for cultivating and maintaining the supplier relationship
Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
More than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
More than 3 years of experience working in a Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) environment
