Impact & contribution: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager – Automation to lead the design, development, and scaling of enterprise automation and intelligent workflow solutions. The role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate), strong hands-on experience in building AI agents and AI-driven workflows, and the ability to manage and derive insights from large-scale data using SQL.
The ideal candidate will also bring strong APEX development knowledge and a proven track record of leading teams, driving automation strategy, and delivering measurable business outcomes at scale.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Automation & Platform Leadership
- Lead end-to-end automation strategy, architecture, and execution across business functions.
- Design, develop, and govern solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft ecosystem tools.
- Establish best practices, standards, and reusable components for enterprise automation.
AI Agents & Intelligent Workflows
- Design and implement AI-powered agents and workflows to automate decision-making, process optimization, and operational intelligence.
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, and business teams to integrate AI capabilities into automation pipelines.
- Stay current with emerging AI agent frameworks, orchestration patterns, and automation trends.
Data & Analytics
- Manage and optimize large datasets using SQL, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity.
- Enable automation solutions that are data-driven, leveraging structured and semi-structured data sources.
- Partner with analytics teams to surface insights and improve automation effectiveness.
Application Development (APEX)
- Provide hands-on guidance and architectural oversight for APEX-based applications and integrations.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable application development practices.
People & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing automation and engineering teams.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Manage vendors, partners, and cross-functional teams as required.
Governance & Risk
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data privacy, and governance standards.
Define KPIs and success metrics to track automation ROI and operational impact.
Essential Skills:
Technical Expertise
- 15+ years of overall IT / technology experience, with significant focus on automation and workflow platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Proven experience designing and implementing AI agents and AI-driven workflows.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including managing and optimizing large-scale datasets.
- Solid working knowledge of APEX development.
- Experience integrating automation platforms with enterprise systems and APIs.
Leadership & Delivery
- Demonstrated experience leading large, complex automation programs.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level engagement.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent curriculum.
- Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification (preferred)
- Certification on recent AI Tools will be an added advantage
