1. Fully responsible for all engineering topics related to processes at the Thailand plant.
2. Define and implement process standards for new projects and localization.
3. Develop and maintain PFMEA, work instructions, and layout management
4. Tooling, Machine Design & Specification
- Collaborate with BU Process Team to define specifications for new tooling and machines.
- Lead machine design reviews and ensure compliance with technical requirements.
- Conduct testing and trials to validate machine performance against specifications.
5. Process Development & Optimization
- Develop robust processes for new projects, localization, and product changes.
- Implement Lean principles and automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Analyze cycle time, ergonomics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Project Launch Support
- Work closely with the APQP team to meet launch timelines from Design Freeze to Start of Production (SOP).
- Organize and manage trials, PTR, and support IRR activities.
- Assist in customer R@R audits.
7. Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Improvement
- Update and share lessons learned, process standards, and engineering technologies with BU Process Team.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to achieve plant KPIs such as scrap reduction, productivity enhancement, VPS implementation, and cost savings.
8. Ensure all HSE requirements are implemented within the assigned area.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years in process engineering within automotive or manufacturing industries.
Preferred: Experience in automotive Noise, Vibration, Harshness (NVH) industry with complex projects and processes.
Hands-on experience with rubber-to-metal products, bonding applications, vulcanization, and assembly processes.
Proven exposure to machine design, process development, and automation implementation.
Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
Strong knowledge of APQP, FMEA, Lean principles, and ISO/TS standards.
Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (GD&T).
Proficiency in CAD software for design and layout.
Basic knowledge of PLC (Siemens) programming and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of safety standards and compliance in manufacturing environments.
