What You Will Do:
Participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of software to include development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems
Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions
Participate in internal review of software components and systems
Collaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering
Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience in one of these areas: telecommunications, data communications, wireless communications, communications protocols, networking protocols, cyber security, digital signal processing, SIGINT or COMINT
Strong emotional intelligence skills (i.e. self-awareness, self-management, empathy, social awareness, relationship management)
Coaching, teaching and/or mentoring skills
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
Excellent organizational, planning, and coordination skills
Experience leading a technical team (e.g. in the role of task lead)
Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle
Strong engineering development discipline and process advocacy
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Practical experience in all phases of the software/system/product development lifecycle
Product development experience in one or more of these areas: telecommunications, data communications, wireless communications, communications protocols, networking protocols, cyber security, digital signal processing, SIGINT and/or COMINT
Experience in creation or improvement of engineering development processes
Excellent track record for working effectively and collaboratively in a multi-faceted team environment

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
