Job Description 

Analog Devices, Inc. are seeking to hire a senior principal Ethernet system architect to join our global Automotive Networking team. The successful candidate will bring industry leading Ethernet expertise, a customer centric approach and a desire to innovate with impact in automotive connectivity 

This exciting role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to influence the next generation of automotive connectivity architectures through partnering with Analog Devices automotive OEM and tier-1 customers and through close alignment with the Automotive Networking development team; the opportunity to shape technologies through engagement with industry working groups and the opportunity to contribute to Analog Devices wider connectivity strategy.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Drive customer engagement to define the next generation of automotive connectivity architectures using Ethernet  

  • Lead definition of next Generation Automotive Ethernet products 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to to deliver these next generation products  

  • Contribute to Analog Devices broader connectivity strategy 

  • Engage with Automotive industry working groups to influence new and existing connectivity technologies 

  •  Represent ADI on Industry standards and at Automotive Ethernet events 

  • Enhance and grow ADI’s Automotive Ethernet ecosystem 

  • Solve customer problems using Analog Devices’ broad portfolio of automotive connectivity solutions 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 

  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in systems engineering or a related field.  

  • Experience in Automotive Ethernet Connectivity and Networking  

  • Extensive experience of engaging with industry working groups  

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and both independent and team-oriented work ethics. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with effective teamwork and leadership capabilities. 

  • Demonstrate ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners 

  • Automotive Tier1 or OEM experience in the area of Ethernet connectivity and Networking highly desirable
