MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a Senior Principal Data Scientist, you will quickly turn large and complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for critical customer requirements.

JOB DUTIES (INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)

  • Conduct structured, repeatable data analysis across large, disparate datasets to surface patterns, trends, anomalies, and relationships.
  • Develop and maintain analytic tooling (queries, scripts, lightweight services) to automate recurring analytic workflows and enable rapid turnaround analysis.
  • Build and enhance interactive analytic dashboards and lightweight GUIs (e.g., Streamlit) that allow for the exploration of complex data, review linkages, and generate structured outputs.
  • Produce analyst-ready deliverables such as tables, visualizations, summaries, and briefings to translate technical findings into clear, decision-oriented insights.
  • Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and other technical staff to convert ad hoc analyses into reusable pipelines and standardized methodologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong Python for analysis and automation (pandas/NumPy, visualization, reproducible notebooks/scripts, etc.).
  • Strong SQL and comfort working directly with large datasets in modern data platforms (e.g., Trino, PostgreSQL, Hive; OpenSearch/ElasticSearch; distributed query experience a plus).
  • Experience developing repeatable analytic workflows: source triage, data profiling, quality checks, transformation logic, and documentation to support consistent re-use.
  • Practical experience with entity resolution, relationship discovery, graph and relational analysis, and applying statistics to support analytic confidence (scoring, thresholds, error rates).
  • Experience integrating and analyzing structured, semi-structured, and text-based data, including extraction of key fields/signals and combining schemas across sources.
  • Ability to communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, including writing concise analytic narratives and building clear visualizations.
