Senior Principal, Content Management

Job Description

The Senior Principal Content Management is accountable for leading the creation, organization, and optimization of proposal content across the enterprise. This position drives enterprise-wide improvements in modernizing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, optimizing content workflows, and ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple areas. This role will be accountable for improving finalist outcomes, accelerating proposal readiness, and ensuring our messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead RFP Process Optimization by acting as a rapid responder to resolve breakdowns, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement process fixes and retraining. Drive enterprise-wide improvements using Responsive, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, content repositories, automation tools, and AI to enhance proposal readiness and content access
  • Champion content strategy and governance by managing proposal content lifecycle and partnering with key teams to capture strategic updates. Ensure content is optimized for RFPs and reused across client-facing materials. Oversee governance standards including tagging, naming, refresh cycles, and quality control
  • Lead technology integration and innovation efforts to unify disparate systems and links into a cohesive proposal content ecosystem. Pilot intelligent workflows and automation strategies to reduce manual effort and improve proposal velocity
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with sales, marketing, product, and consultant relations to ensure proposal content reflects current capabilities and client needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High school diploma or GED required
  • 10 years work experience in proposal strategy, content management, or sales enablement including 3 years managing cross-functional projects, teams, or initiatives

Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in implementing content governance across distributed teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior leadership
  • Knowledge of healthcare RFP processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), healthcare, or other regulated industry-experience
  • Experience with proposal automation platforms (e.g., Responsive)
  • AI tool experience for proposal generation and bid analysis
  • Formal people leadership experience

Potential pay for this position ranges from $143,000.00 - $243,000.00 based on experience and skills.
