Senior Pricing Consultant

What you'll do: 

The Senior Pricing Consultant will serve as a key integrator between Pricing Operations and Pricing Strategy teams, driving initiatives that enhance pricing processes, automation, and governance. This role combines project management, analytical expertise, change management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver pricing excellence. The ideal candidate is highly curious, organized, and an exceptional communicator who can influence without direct authority. 

  • Manage cross-functional pricing projects, ensuring alignment between across multiple stakeholders in different parts of the organization, including Pricing, Promo, Merchandising, FP&A and our Dealers 
  • Provide analytical insights and work with both the Pricing Strategy and Merchandising teams to build frameworks that allow us to use those insights to better inform pricing strategies over time 
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities in partnership with internal teams and external vendors; participate in requirement collection and testing, monitor progress, facilitate rollout and manage the change across the Pricing team and applicable cross functional teams
  • Act as subject matter expert for major system or data transitions (e.g., iHub, Power BI) and ensure accurate migration of pricing data and tools
  • Create and track an upskilling roadmap that allows the team to take advantage of automation and AI-driven tools implemented across the Pricing Strategy & Operations team 
  • Document system and process requirements for pricing tools and coordinate with product owners to ensure updates and enhancements
  • Support onboarding and sustainment of pricing strategies at both a national and regional level, or for specific programs such as the 2P expansion; work with stakeholders to gain alignment on necessary changes to process, RACI, SLAs, etc., facilitate rollouts and manage change 
  • Collect, distribute, and manage dealer feedback, partnering with the Retail Fundamentals team to improve processes

 

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, strategy, or operations roles
  • Proven track record in project management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Familiarity with pricing tools, automation technologies, and BI platforms (Power BI, iHub)
  • Experience with SOP development and process improvement. 
  • Understanding of product lifecycle, role, profile, elasticity, etc. and the impact of external factors; competitors, vendors, etc.
  • Extensive experience gathering and interpreting data, able to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels within the organization
  • Thrives in a team environment through contributing to a shared team purpose, celebrating team achievements, and maintaining a positive working relationship with other team members (both on direct team and client teams)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced business environment, comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Our typical hiring range is between $64,000 and $106,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
