Position Summary- **This position requires current residency in Virginia and an active Virginia license as an FNP or PA**

The Senior Practice Manager is a dynamic leadership position responsible for driving both clinical excellence and business performance across multiple clinics. Reporting directly to the Area Director, this role leads a high-performing team of Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), and Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses (LVNs/LPNs) to deliver exceptional patient care and achieve organizational goals.

As a strategic leader, you will oversee clinic operations, ensure quality outcomes, and foster team engagement while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong decision-making skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Excellence & Compliance
    • Maintain high standards of patient care and adherence to clinical protocols.
    • Monitor quality and safety metrics, identifying trends and implementing improvement strategies.
    • Collaborate with clinical educators to support training and development.
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Lead and mentor a team of advanced practice clinicians.
    • Drive engagement and professional growth within the team.
    • Promote effective communication and a positive work culture.
  • Operational & Financial Oversight
    • Manage clinic performance, including financial and operational outcomes.
    • Oversee budgets, payroll, and resource allocation.
    • Partner with leadership to implement growth initiatives and process improvements.
  • Strategic Impact
    • Provide visionary leadership and guide organizational change.
    • Ensure ethical standards and organizational values are integrated into daily practice.
    • Engage providers in decision-making to enhance care delivery.

Required Qualifications

Current board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant
Current active, unrestricted state licensure to practice as a FNP or a PA
5 years work experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse or a Physician Assistant
2 years experience managing teams

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a retail health setting

Education

• Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
• Or in select states, Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related Master's Degree or equivalent experience together with Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$110,467.00 - $237,930.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
