Senior Power BI - ServiceNow Reporting

What success looks like in this role:

• Collaborates with leaders in allied / supported functions (e.g., finance, marketing, sales, etc.) as well as existing and potential clients to identify business opportunities and challenges and develop associated information needs.
• Determines analytical methodologies and tools appropriate for investigating identified challenges and opportunities.
• Manages and executes medium size projects or components of larger projects from start to finish, including:
 o Data gathering and manipulation,
 o Synthesis and modeling,
 o Problem solving, and
 o Communication of insights and recommendations.
• Delivers concise, compelling, data-driven recommendations on where and how alternative business decisions could lead to improved performance.

The ServiceNow Reporting Analyst is responsible for designing, developing reports and dashboards within the ServiceNow platform. This role supports business stakeholders by providing accurate, timely, and actionable insights through ServiceNow reports, Performance Analytics (PA), and data visualizations.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The ServiceNow Reporting Analyst is responsible for designing, developing reports and dashboards within the ServiceNow platform.
• This role supports business stakeholders by providing accurate, timely, and actionable insights through ServiceNow reports, Performance Analytics (PA), and data visualizations.
• Design, develop, and maintain ticketing / ServiceNow reports and dashboards.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into ServiceNow solutions.
• Develop and maintain Performance Analytics indicators, breakdowns, and widgets.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports.
• Optimize report performance and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
• Support SLA, KPI, and operational metrics reporting.
• Provide reporting support and training to end users.
• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards using ServiceNow data
• Build and maintain Power BI datasets, semantic models, and measures (DAX)
• Translate business and ITSM reporting requirements into Power BI visualizations
• Develop SLA, KPI, trend, and performance reports for ITSM processes
• Ensure data accuracy, refresh reliability, and performance optimization
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and governance standards in Power BI
• Schedule and monitor data refreshes (Power BI Service / Gateway)
• Validate ServiceNow data against native reports for consistency
• Document data models, transformations, and report definitions
• Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators and stakeholders for data alignment
• Support ad-hoc analysis and executive-level reporting needs.
