The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The Senior PI&CS Specialist is responsible for providing advanced electrical, control, and digital engineering support to manufacturing operations. This role focuses on leading capital expenditure (Capex) projects and digital deployment initiatives to drive process optimization, enhance productivity, improve quality and yield, reduce unit costs, and increase equipment stability and reliability Key Responsibilities:
----Lead and execute electrical, control, and automation projects from conception to completion, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.
----Provide technical direction and project management oversight, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
----Identify, evaluate, and develop electrical and control system solutions to address manufacturing challenges and optimize process performance.
----Design electrical control systems, including elementary diagrams, wiring schematics, and cabling layouts.
----Spearhead digital tool deployment and IoT-based solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency, data visibility, and predictive maintenance capabilities.
----Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
----Develop engineering specifications, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements for equipment procurement and commissioning.
----Ensure comprehensive documentation of electrical and control systems, including engineering drawings, program codes, and equipment manuals.
----Provide technical leadership in capital equipment management and act as a key liaison among engineering, production, process and maintenance teams.
Your Skills and Expertise
----Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation & Control, or Computer Engineering;
----Master’s degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in electrical/control engineering within a manufacturing environment; experience in coating line setup and independent debugging is highly desirable Proficiency in Rockwell Allen-Bradley and Siemens control systems (PLC, HMI, VFD, Servo control, Motion Control and PID control).
----Experience with IoT integration and digital tool development for manufacturing optimization.
----Strong capability in electrical design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.
----Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
----Possession of a valid Low-Voltage Electrical Operation Certificate. An explosion-proof certification is a plus.
