About the Role: 

As the Senior People & Performance Partner, you will partner with Senior Leaders to drive business growth, diagnosing people challenges and shaping solutions that support business performance. You will work closely with leaders and teams to embed new ways of working, support cultural alignment, and drive ongoing integration activities that enable Domain to deliver our goal of becoming Australia’s property portal of choice

Leveraging your expertise in business partnering and organisational development, you will influence and uplift business performance through a mix of enterprise-wide and function-specific initiatives across talent, performance, organisational design and culture. You will act as a champion of change - helping teams navigate transitions, build resilience, and adapt to an evolving business landscape.

Working in close partnership with the Head of People & Performance and with the broader Business Partnering team, you will contribute to the full execution of our People strategy across the entire employee lifecycle.

In a typical day you can expect to be:   

  • Meeting with senior leaders to understand business objectives, diagnosing people challenges and shaping solutions that support both business performance and integration objectives.

  • Coaching senior leaders on performance, team dynamics or change leadership.

  • Leading or contributing to enterprise-wide initiatives across talent management, succession, org design, capability development and performance frameworks.

  • Partnering with leaders on organisational design considerations - reviewing structures, role definitions, spans of control and future workforce needs.

  • Reviewing people metrics and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and advising leaders accordingly.

  • Supporting change and integration activities, including communication planning, engagement actions, and ensuring teams have what they need to adapt successfully.

  • Collaborating with the broader People team to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across the employee lifecycle.

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders, helping guide complex or sensitive people matters with sound judgement and care.

Our Ideal Person: 

  • Extensive experience partnering with Senior Levels within complex, dynamic and scaling environments

  • Is product and people obsessed, understands and brings together the commercial and human parts to help create an environment where people can thrive

  • Experience working in a matrixed environment, with an evolving business landscape 

  • Change management expertise and extensive experience in leading teams through transformation and growth

  • Relevant qualifications or extensive working knowledge of employment law in Australia

  • Confidence in facilitating discussions and delivering presentations to a variety of audiences, including Senior Stakeholders

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to navigate diverse perspectives and foster alignment across the People team and the business

  • Demonstrated experience with People Consulting practices supported by strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively program manage a number of initiatives simultaneously

  • Extensive knowledge of people systems and supporting technologies

  • Experience in designing enterprise-wide people programs including workforce planning, performance management, listening strategies, leadership development, organisational design & development, talent management and reward

  • Extensive experience managing the end-to-end people lifecycle, ensuring consistency and high standard of service delivery throughout
