About the role
Be part of the heart of St Vincent’s Public Hospital: join our People and Culture team and work closely with our leaders and employees to provide expert guidance and people-focused solutions.
Report to the Head of People Partnering and be part of a team of 7 People Partners
Serve as an expert advisor on HR policies and procedures
Manage complex employee relations matters
Partner with the business on organisational change and strategic people-focused projects
Utilise workforce metrics and data-driven insights to guide executive decision-making
Enjoy working flexibly with 2 days working from home if work allows

About you
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
Experience as a senior People and Culture partner in complex organisational environments
Experienced in employee relations advice and management, and in organisational design
A proactive mindset focused on innovation and continuous improvement of people-related processes
Proven ability to drive results through clear and effective reasoning and communication
Skilled at engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels to build consensus where required
Prior experience in a similar role within the healthcare sector is highly regarded

In this role you will be based at St Vincent’s hospital, Darlinghurst.

Closely partnered with universities & affiliated research institutes, many of which are located on-campus
Centres of excellence include heart & lung transplantation, bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, cancer care, AIDS/HIV, respiratory medicine, mental health, homeless health, drug & alcohol services, and correctional health
