About the role

In the role of Senior People Business Partner, you will report to the Sr. Director, People Business Partnerships & LatAm.

As a key member of the People Business Partnerships team, you will partner closely with leaders and employees in Mexico City and the Latin America regions to support organizational talent, drive engagement, and enable the business to deliver impactful outcomes. We are looking for a Senior People Business Partner with experience supporting and scaling teams in dynamic, fast-growing environments.

Core Areas of Responsibility

  • Partner closely with Mexico City and LatAm-based business leaders and team members to understand their goals and provide strategic people support that drives business success
  • Provide coaching and expertise to local leaders across areas, including talent strategy, organizational design and effectiveness, leadership development, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, and employee relations
  • Support day-to-day people operations in Mexico City and other LatAm regions as needed, partnering with Payroll, Benefits, and People Services to ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding, leave management, and compliance with local employment requirements
  • Act as the primary People Partner for Mexico City and LatAm regions, ensuring local needs and insights are reflected in broader people strategies and programs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the US-based People Partners, Recruiting, IT, Finance, Payroll, and other partners to support local initiatives and deliver integrated people solutions
  • Support the implementation and change management of people programs within Mexico City and LatAm 
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform business and talent decisions at the local level
  • Champion company culture, values, and employee experience within the Mexico City office and other LatAm regions

About You

We get excited about candidates like you, because...

  • You have 12+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a related role, ideally in tech or media environments, or where you have been exposed to working with multiple regions and stakeholders.
  • Bring solid knowledge of HR disciplines, including organizational design, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and local employment laws in Mexico City. Knowledge of other LatAm regions is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels
  • Your English and Spanish communication skills are both great. 
  • Are proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment when navigating complex or ambiguous situations
  • Have hands-on experience with day-to-day people operations
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion
  • Thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with driven, thoughtful colleagues
  • Hold a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field and/or equivalent working experience.
