Senior People Business Partner :

About the Role

As a Senior People Business Partner, you’ll work hand-in-hand with the Director of People & Culture – APAC to bring regional strategies to life while serving as the primary HR partner for India and supporting Nepal. Part of our People & Culture team, which champions employee experience and organizational effectiveness across APAC, this role is pivotal in shaping a workplace where people thrive and innovation flourishes. Beyond driving performance management, cultural initiatives, engagement surveys, and leadership development, you’ll establish and refine HR policies and processes that ensure compliance, scalability, and alignment with global standards. You’ll also lead people partnership efforts focused on engagement and experience, creating programs that foster connection, inclusion, and growth. Your work will empower tech teams in across the APAC to stay aligned with global priorities while building a strong local culture that inspires and enables success.

Your day to day

  • Partner closely with the APAC People & Culture Director, providing hands-on support for day-to-day initiatives and ensuring smooth execution of organizational priorities focused for APAC region.
  • Act as the primary people business partner for India and supporting for Nepal, helping leaders solve real people challenges from team structure to talent planning while keeping everything aligned with the company strategy.
  • Shape the employee experience by creating programs that boost inclusion, well-being, and connection across our tech teams, including engagement surveys, cultural initiatives, and well-being efforts tailored for teams.
  • Partner to lead core people processes like performance reviews, goal-setting, and coaching managers to build a strong feedback culture.
  • Work on policy and process improvements, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and alignment with global standards.
  • Collaborate on leadership development and career growth, working with L&D to design pathways and identify future leaders.
  • Onboarding and creating new people leader development program including delivery in partnership with L&D
  • Spot trends before they become issues using data and insights, whether it’s attrition, engagement, or diversity and turn them into actionable solutions.

What you bring to the team

  • Proven experience and expertise in People & Culture role with 10+years of experience, including at least 3 years in a Senior People & Business Partnership role in tech or high-growth environments. Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws in India.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate organizational priorities into practical people strategies.
  • Hands-on experience in core people areas such as performance management, leadership coaching, employee engagement, talent development, and cultural initiatives.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret HR metrics and turn insights into actionable solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, capable of building trust with leaders and teams across India and Nepal.
  • Comfort working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with a proactive approach to problem-solving and change management.
  • Cultural agility: Ability to work across diverse teams and adapt to global and local cultural nuances.
  • Stakeholder management: Ability to influence and build trust with senior leaders while balancing employee advocacy.
  • Fluency in English: (written and spoken) to collaborate effectively in a regional and global context.
  • Tech-savvy mindset: Hands-on with HR systems (HRIS), data analytics tools, and digital collaboration platforms.

What we would like to see, but not required

  • Project management skills: Experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously especially regional rollouts like engagement surveys, cultural programs, and leadership development.
  • Experience working in regional or global HR roles, supporting multiple countries and navigating cultural nuances.

Familiarity with HR technology platforms and analytics tools to enhance data-driven decision-making.
