About the Role

As a Senior Partner Sales Manager focused on the VAR (Value-Added Resellers) Channel in Germany, you will play a critical role in driving partner-led revenue growth, deepening strategic relationships, and expanding Genesys’ presence across the DACH region. You will own the business development, enablement, and performance management of Value-Added Resellers, ensuring they are equipped, aligned, and motivated to successfully position and deliver Genesys solutions.

This role requires strong partner sales expertise, the ability to build multithreaded relationships, and deep experience orchestrating joint go-to-market motions across enterprise SaaS or cloud ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute joint business plans with each VAR (Value-Added Resellers), including coverage models, revenue targets, enablement pathways, and marketing calendars.
  • Map partner organizations across sales, pre-sales, delivery, and executive levels to build and maintain multithreaded relationships.

Awareness & Enablement

  • Drive partner enablement across product, AI use cases, demos, competitive positioning, deal registration, and services packaging.
  • Launch partner playbooks (e.g., Genesys Cloud vertical solutions, integrations with AWS, Salesforce, ServiceNow) to support solution positioning and field execution.

Go-to-Market & Pipeline Generation

  • Orchestrate joint marketing programs (events, webinars, ABM campaigns) and co-selling motions (triads, account mapping).
  • Ensure consistent deal registration cadence, partner pipeline development, and accurate pipeline hygiene within Salesforce.

Opportunity Execution

  • Lead and accelerate partner-led and co-sell opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle using MEDDICC or equivalent methodologies.
  • Remove blockers, coordinate cross-functional resources (SE, PS, legal), validate delivery readiness, and ensure effective handoff for customer time-to-value.

Governance & Performance

  • Run structured monthly pipeline reviews and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with top VARs.
  • Track and manage partner KPIs, including MDF utilization, compliance, and adherence to Genesys brand and program standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in alliances, partner sales, or channel management within enterprise SaaS or cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the VAR ecosystem, with proven success building and scaling partner revenue.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships across sales, technical, delivery, and executive teams.
  • Experience driving co-sell and co-marketing programs that yield measurable pipeline and bookings impact.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business planning, forecasting, and pipeline management capabilities.
  • Ability to travel approx. 60% to partner sites, joint customer meetings, and regional events.
  • Professional fluency in German and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in CCaaS, CX, AI, or cloud-based customer experience platforms.
  • Familiarity with partner methodologies and enterprise sales frameworks (MEDDIC/MEDDICC, Challenger, SPIN).
  • Established network across Germany’s ecosystem of VARs, integrators, and strategic technology partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (MBA a plus).

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Comprehensive benefits and employee support programs.
  • Extensive partner and product training, with continuous learning and professional growth opportunities.
  • A collaborative, high-performance culture focused on innovation, customer success, and partner excellence.
