Senior PAM DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Privileged Access Management DevOps Engineer to join us.

I’m Kęstutis Černiauskas, Head of Identity Architecture & PAM Solutions, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us in Privileged Access Management team. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on Privileged Access control, Multifactor authentication (MFA), as well as secret management technologies, which help Telia employees to execute their daily activities in simple and secure ways.

What you’ll do:

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a strategic impact by evolving our privileged access management platforms, MFA solutions as well as secret management systems by using the latest technologies in the area, that are critical to our organization's security posture. In this role you will:

  • Solution Implementation: Participate in the design, development, and deployment of robust PAM solutions, including workload access controls, secrets management, and endpoint privilege management. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for the PAM team, providing guidance, validation, and quality control for implementation and integration efforts.
  • Platform Management: Leverage expertise in PAM tools such as CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, Thales and partner with other architecture, operations, security and compliance teams to ensure seamless integration of PAM solutions with existing systems (e.g., Active Directory, SIEM tools, cloud platforms, microservices, etc.).
  • Troubleshooting and operational support: Lead the testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex technical issues across multiple layers to ensure successful deployment and ongoing operational stability of PAM systems including on-call support.
  • Risk management and Compliance: Define, implement, and enforce access control policies, standards, and procedures for privileged accounts, ensuring consistent and secure management and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, FedRAMP, DoD IL). Conduct regular assessments of PAM controls, analyze complex access control scenarios, and collaborate with business partners to identify and mitigate risks associated with privileged access.

What will help you thrive in this role:

Position would be great for someone collaborative, willing to share knowledge and with result driven mentality, as well as:

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in the Tech or IT industry, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in Identity and Privileged Access Management roles.
  • Technical Expertise: hands-on, expert-level experience with CyberArk PAM platform, as well as experience with other enterprise grade solutions like Hashicorp Vault, Nokia Netguard, etc. Overall deep technical understanding of PAM capabilities, controls, and security technologies, including privileged account discovery, session management, JIT and DevOps secret management.
  • Identity & Access Management: experience and knowledge in core IAM technologies (federation, directory services, MFA) and authentication protocols (SAML, OIDC, Kerberos, LDAP), as well as cloud IAM solutions and native architectures (Azure, AWS).
  • Problem solving & Communication: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to analyze complex scenarios and develop appropriate solutions. Leadership qualities, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Monthly salary range for this position – 4300-6400 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
