Position Overview:

Yahoo is seeking a Paid Media Operations Analyst to support our growing paid media program across search, social, and emerging channels. This role will focus on performance analysis, campaign monitoring, testing support, and revenue data quality, helping ensure that our paid efforts operate efficiently, insights are surfaced quickly, and performance data is accurate and trustworthy.

The Paid Media Operations Analyst will act as a strategic partner to paid media managers, CRO, and cross-functional teams by owning reporting and monitoring, identifying trends and risks, supporting testing initiatives, and ensuring the reliability and ongoing improvement of both campaign performance and revenue data.

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor paid media performance across channels (e.g., Google, Meta), identifying trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities

  • Own recurring performance reporting and dashboards, providing clear visibility into results, pacing, and key drivers

  • Support paid testing initiatives by tracking test setup, measurement frameworks, results, and post-test insights

  • Partner with Paid Media Managers to evaluate performance against goals, budgets, and forecasts

  • Analyze funnel performance from click through conversion, surfacing insights related to creative, landing pages, audiences, and offers

  • Support onboarding of new partners into revenue reporting, including validating data feeds, mappings, and measurement logic

  • Perform ongoing QA of revenue and conversion data, proactively identifying discrepancies or tracking issues

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with CRO, Analytics, Product, and Engineering to improve measurement, attribution, and data quality
     

What You Bring:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in a data, analytics, or performance measurement role supporting paid media, growth marketing, or digital marketing

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large datasets to uncover meaningful insights and validate data integrity

  • Experience analyzing performance across paid channels (e.g., search, social, display), even if you have not managed campaigns directly

  • Experience working with revenue, conversion, or partner data and performing QA or validation checks

  • Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, Excel/Sheets, or similar BI platforms

  • Familiarity with A/B testing concepts, experimental design, and performance measurement best practices

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain findings, implications, and data issues to cross-functional partners

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting conversion rate optimization or landing page experimentation efforts

  • Familiarity with attribution models and paid media measurement challenges

  • Experience onboarding new partners, affiliates, or vendors into reporting systems

  • Exposure to SQL, Python, or advanced data analysis techniques

The compensation for this position ranges from $72,750.00 - $151,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
