In this dynamic environment, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Senior OT Security Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team.     

PwC’s OT Security Practice is a strategic priority and one of the fastest-growing areas of our business, with ambitious plans for expansion through targeted hiring, alliances, and acquisitions.

As a Senior OT Security Engineer, you’ll play a key role in helping clients protect their industrial systems and critical infrastructure from cyber threats. You’ll work closely with global organizations, contribute to the delivery of complex cybersecurity projects, and support the development of junior team members. You’ll be part of a high-performing team of Cybersecurity, Architecture, and Engineering professionals, bringing the best of PwC to our clients.

  • Analyse the architecture and infrastructure of OT environments across diverse industries and co-lead assessments of ICS/OT systems (e.g., SCADA, DCS, IIoT), identifying cybersecurity risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of cybersecurity controls and solutions tailored to industrial systems.
  • Support the development and customization of ICS security frameworks based on standards such as ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82.
  • Participate in cybersecurity projects as part of broader transformation initiatives, collaborating with client stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Maintain and improve asset inventories, network diagrams, and documentation related to OT security posture.
  • Collaborate with IT, OT, and engineering teams to integrate security into operational processes and technology lifecycles.
  • Conduct research on emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in industrial cybersecurity.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance, and support in their technical and professional development.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, methodology refinement, and capability building within the OT cybersecurity team.

What you bring matters 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Automation, Electronics, or Computer Science

  • 2–4 years of experience in industrial cybersecurity or related fields

  • Practical experience with OT/ICS/IoT systems such as SCADA, PLCs, DCS, or IIoT through professional roles, projects, or consulting engagements
  • Familiarity with industrial protocols like OPC, Modbus, Profinet/Profibus, etc. and with technologies from major vendors (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, ABB, Schneider Electric)
  • Sound understanding of core OT cybersecurity concepts, (e.g. network segmentation, secure remote access, IT/OT convergence, patch management, etc.) and common OT cybersecurity threats and attack vectors (e.g., ransomware, supply chain attacks, remote access exploitation, spoofing, unauthorized mode changes, setpoint/register manipulation, firmware attacks, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of common network devices (e.g., switches, routers, firewalls) and their placement in industrial environments
  • Familiarity with internationally recognized OT security standards and frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443 / ISA 99, NIST SP 800–82)
  • Ability to produce clear and structured technical and non-technical documentation for diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledge of IoT technologies and architectures is considered a strong plus, especially in industrial or edge computing contexts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences
  • Passion for OT cybersecurity and advisory work, with a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing
  • Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Professional certifications in ICS/OT security (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443, GICSP) or vendor-specific tools (e.g., Claroty, Nozomi) are considered a plus

  • General knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST-CSF, ISO 27000 series)

  • Fluent in English and Greek
