Job Description

As a subject matter expert, independently process, reconcile and/or balance for the assigned product according to department policy and procedures. Research and respond to more complex issues escalated from operations teams, and take a lead role in communicating resolution status updates to appropriate parties. Identify process improvements and implement solutions as appropriate. Ensure processing of transactions follow industry rules/regulations and internal compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, respond and resolve sophisticated issues initiated by high-priority advisors, clients or other relationship partners and accurately communicate the status of these requests to applicable internal and external business partners.  Effectively manage a high-volume caseload to ensure that all issues are resolved quickly and accurately.

  • Process transactions, including both routine and sophisticated, involving high-priority accounts in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.  Complete day-to-day operations processing tasks, such as auditing, processing transactions, and approval of reissued and rewritten transactions, as well as frontline underwriting, where appropriate.

  • Identify process improvements and implement solutions as appropriate.  Participate in various team or department project requests, as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High school or GED.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience.

  • *Post-secondary education and relevant work experience may be interchanged to meet the combined total years of minimum required qualifications for education and experience.

  • 3+ years of operations, processing, or customer service experience.

  • Proven ability to research and resolve issues, with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under tight time frames and deadlines, while achieving a high degree of accuracy.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to understand and communicate complex issues.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Product-specific or financial services industry experience.

Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $50,800-$69,900/year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
