What you will do
Join Johnson Controls as a dynamic and commercially driven Senior Operations Leader, where you'll take charge of our regional delivery strategy and operational performance. In this pivotal role, you'll lead a substantial team of Operations Managers and Engineers, overseeing successful service delivery service as well as the delivery of major HVAC projects. Your leadership will ensure excellence in execution, customer satisfaction, and significant financial growth.
How you will do it
Strategic & Financial Leadership
- Develop and implement a high-performing delivery strategy aligned with Johnson Controls standards.
- Own and manage your P&L, driving growth while maintaining tight cost control.
- Monitor financial performance and adjust course to meet key metrics and business targets.
- Drive growth through contracted service and projects in collaboration with the commercial and lifecycle teams.
- Drive positive cash flow through customer retention and cost management.
Operational Excellence
- Lead a team of Operations Managers and Engineers, with indirect leadership of delivery, planning, and support functions.
- Drive execution of backlog to increase revenue and meet plan targets.
- Improve engineer productivity and efficiency across all functions.
- Conduct monthly capacity reviews to meet current and future demands without overload or waste.
- Conduct monthly audits to ensure quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Installation and Service teams to enhance operational standards.
Customer & Quality Focus
- Ensure all projects and work performed meet the highest standards of customer satisfaction and contractual compliance.
- Conduct customer site visits aligned with sales channels to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction.
- Create and implement action plans based on Your Voice feedback.
Risk & Compliance Management
- Ensure safety for all work performed.
- Maintain control over WIH (Work in Hand) across all functions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Champion EHS obligations, focusing on the Critical 6 safety principles.
Key Objectives
- Achieve all financial and operational KPIs associated with the region.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery quality, standards, and customer experience.
What we look for
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, similar and necessary relevant industry experience
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in HVAC systems
- Managerial/leadership skills
- Proven analytical skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong financial acumen and commercial insight
- Ability to collaborate with global partners
- Be a quick learner & should have a keen eye for problem solving
- Have demonstrated customer service orientation with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Teams
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with ability to pivot to changing tasks and priorities
Preferred
- Advance degree, MS and/or MBA
- Proven experience managing P&L and leading large operational teams
- Experience in collaborating with multiple sites and business units to achieve business objectives
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior management, teams and individuals across multiple cultures, disciplines, and geographies.
- Commitment to self-development and continuous improvement
- Solid quantitative skill set and the ability to analyze, think and communicate with well-supported data
- Experience driving organizational transformations
- Familiarity with the building technologies market.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $126,000-189,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
