About the Role:
Take your career to the next level as a Senior Network Engineer(IP Voice) who maintains Wolters Kluwer telecommunications infrastructure . Responsibilities:
• Manages assignments and projects related to telephony infrastructure
• Genesys Cloud and MS teams call routing technology, ensuring connectivity, performance, reliability, and security.
• Resolve significant network problems with minimal supervision.
• Conduct comprehensive network traffic and performance analysis.
• Implement advanced security protocols and policies.
• Maintain precise documentation and network diagrams.
• Advise on network upgrades and optimization strategies.
• Collaborate across departments for integrated network solutions.
• Participate in the design and execution of network architecture projects.
• Monitor network performance proactively to prevent issues.
• Manages telecommunications vendor relationships
Skills:
• Genesys Cloud administration (must be able to build call flows), MS Teams administration, CRM (Salesforce).
• Manage requests for changes to telecommunications infrastructure such as cloud SIP trunks, toll-free service, long-distance service, local service, DID, etc
• Assists in developing a long-range strategy for telecommunications software, infrastructure, and automation.
• Assists with developing and managing all voice services architectural plans and strategies.
• Determine requirements for local, long-distance, network features, and data circuits.
• Complex Configuration: Expertise in complex network installations and configurations.
• Proactive Monitoring: Proficiency in proactive network performance monitoring.
• Problem Solving: Advanced problem-solving skills for network issues.
• Security Protocols: Deep understanding of advanced network security protocols.
• Comprehensive Documentation: Skill in creating detailed network documentation.
• Optimization Strategies: Ability to provide recommendations for network optimization.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Enhanced skills in collaborating with other departments.
• Mentorship: Ability to mentor junior team members effectively.
