The MQ-25 Stingray program is going through an exciting time as it stands up a new site in Mascoutah, Illinois. Progressing towards the first flight milestone, the Production Engineering team is looking for a key addition the the Manufacturing Engineering group to support the flight test activity.
Position Overview: As an Electrical Manufacturing Planner, you will support the development and implementation of production methodologies for electrical subsystems and support troubleshooting efforts. You will collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes that meet stringent quality standards.
Position Responsibilities
Develops and plans manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
Leads investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing related issues.
Collaborate with IPTs to support the integration of technical solutions and ensure manufacturability of designs.
Investigate and resolve technical problems related to electrical manufacturing processes.
Participate in the implementation of Lean principles to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Resolve technical issues that significantly impact performance, cost, or schedule.
Conduct data analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Communicate effectively with internal customers and stakeholders to align on product development and manufacturing goals.
Perform producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capabilities meet requirements.
Maintain a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout all manufacturing processes.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
6+ years of work-related experience with an Associate’s OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
Experience with aircraft electrical systems and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications preferred
Prior knowledge of electrical fabrication and/or assembly level planning preferred
