Senior Motion Design Producer

Location: Remote- must be in EST time zone
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Head of Video and Motion

Overview

The Senior Motion Design Producer is a hands on creative role that combines advanced motion design, live action editing, and finishing with shared responsibility for post production workflow and AI integration. This position will work closely with the Head of Video and Motion, motion designers, visual designers, copywriters, and external vendors to bring campaigns and brand content to life. A portfolio and reel that demonstrate both motion graphics work and live action editing are required.

While we believe that work executed by humans is paramount, a main core of this role is to help develop and explore how AI tools and workflows can infuse our output with the same quality, clarity, and care our team prides itself on. AI will enhance our creativity, not replace it, and the person in this role will partner directly with the Head of Video and Motion to explore, test, and integrate these tools responsibly.

This role has three primary functions:

1. Create high quality motion design, live action editing, and finished content

The person in this position will design and animate motion graphics, build toolkits and motion systems, edit live action content, and deliver polished final files. They will collaborate with motion designers, visual designers, and copywriters to bring campaigns and brand stories across the finish line. Required tools include Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Illustrator. Nice to have tools include Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, Houdini, or other 3D software used in modern motion workflows.

2. Support and manage post production workflow in partnership with project managers

This role helps ensure projects move smoothly from intake to delivery on the post production side. They will support post production schedules, coordinate with internal designers and editors, and maintain quality control across deliverables. They will manage the relationship with external production and post vendors specifically from a post production perspective. They are not the main relationship owner, but they are responsible for giving vendors direction, feedback, and clear file expectations. This is shared ownership that supports the broader project management structure.

3. Explore and implement AI tools that improve workflow in partnership with the Head of Video and Motion. The person in this role will research and experiment with AI tools that help the team move faster and produce more consistent work. They will build AI supported workflows, document processes, and bring new tools to the Head of Video and Motion for evaluation. All AI integration will be done with an understanding that the team values clarity, craftsmanship, and thoughtful creative output.
